As a group, the Variable Star Quilters have grown together while maintaining their quilting individually. With strong roots in tradition, each proceeds at her own pace down the path to creativity. In every activity each seems to find the job best suited for herself, within her own level of expertise. This diversity is what bonds them together and offers support along with inspiration.

"Under the Summer Sun"
Every two years the quilt group host a tea party for family and friends.
A theme is picked and the guild members have 2 years to complete a quilt inspired by the theme.
The rules for under the summer sun included that the wallhanging had to be 24x32 either portriat or landscape.
